MO Bar- glamour and sophistication in bar & lounge at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta

As the vibrant nightlife scene in Jakarta sees new, impressive venues opening on a frequent basis, the MO Bar, at the recently re-furbished Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, has established  a well deserved reputation as one of the premier bar/lounges in the city. The chic, sophisticated venue attracts a fashionable crowd of young professionals seeking an “after work”  destination for cocktails and relaxed conversation in comfortable surroundings, or the late night scene of chilled music spun by resident and guest DJ’s.

The MO Bar is located upstairs on the 2nd level from the main lobby, and the venue has a contemporary interior design featuring comfortable seating in the lounge area, a private room available for small groups, and seating around the large central bar- overlooking the busy traffic outside on Jln M H Thamrin.

The extensive bar menu features a selection of Asian- inspired tapas and other light bar snacks.
Original signature and classic cocktails are a feature of the bar, as well as selected wines by the glass or bottle, plus the full range of spirits, beers, and other drinks.
Highlights from the cocktail selection include the “MO Jakarta“- mixed from Kurrant vodka, clove, strawberry and cranberry juice, and the “Love & Passion”- Sky vodka, strawberries, passion fruit and lime juice.

MO Bar has a very popular “Lady’s Night” promotion every Tuesday night, and also the MO BLUES night on Saturday, featuring a renowned local blues band.
