Ultra-chic lounge bar melds a zeal for fashion and music with innovative cocktail experiences

Sleek and chic with an edgy contemporary design, WOOBAR launched onto the Singapore nightlife scene with the opening of the luxurious, design-centric hotel- W Singapore-Sentosa Cove– in September 2012. WOOBAR brings to Singapore its signature entertainment and lifestyle concept that embraces both fashion and music, blended with exceptional mixology and delicious bar bites. The WOOBARs have been enthusiastically embraced by the discerning and fashionable set in other Asian cities hosting W Hotels such as Taipei, Seoul, Hong Kong and Bali (with Bangkok opening in December 2012). WOOBAR in Singapore attracts both local residents and hotel guests to unwind with a relaxed afternoon drink or indulge in the sumptuous high tea, and as the venue transforms in the evenings with the resident DJ spinning vibrant music, enjoy the cocktails and a buzzing social scene.
Located on the lobby level of the hotel, WOOBAR merges seamlessly with the spacious lobby and lounge areas to create a stylish space that is decorated with an eclectic assemblage of modern furnishings, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the outdoor pool and adjacent marina.
The enticing cocktail program at WOOBAR is overseen by the resident mixologist, crafting an impressive list of both creative and classic cocktails. A special feature of the Drinks Menu is the range of Hand Crafted Distills– with popular spirits infused with carefully selected Asian spices & ingredients to create some unique flavours- examples include Lemongrass-Ginger Infused Tequila; and Garlic-Basil Infused Vodka. The bar also serves a full range of premium spirits, a large selection of imported and local beers, plus wines by the glass, gourmet coffees and teas, and other healthy non-alcoholic beverages.
Signature hand-held bar bites include Cheese on Toast (miso-pickled cream cheese with truffle on toast); Electrified Liver (goose foie gras with mustard miso on Katafi pastry); Puff Ducky; and The Woobar Lollipop.

Inside WOOBAR
The lower section of the bar features sleek contemporary furnishings- and with full height glass overlooking the gardens and pool.
The upper section of the bar offers white leather upholstered chairs facing the bar counter, and luxurious lounge seating on a timber platform, back-dropped with a dramatic timber carving.
At the front of the main bar, suspended white “cocoon” chairs with sparkling gold cushions make a whimsical, bold design statement.
Settings along the back of the lounge section feature an eclectic collection of avant garde furniture.
The DJ booth commands a pivotal position as the focal point between the lounge space and the bar.

Barrel Aged Distills- oak-aged classic cocktails- Negroni, Manhattan, Bacon Bourbon, Martell VSOP &Foie Gras & Figs, Bak Kwa Whiskey and Butter’ed Rum. Served by the glass or 500ml carafe.
