Highlander, a Scottish themed restaurant and bar, stands prominently at the heart of Singapore’s vibrant Clarke Quay nightlife complex. Established more than 7 years, Highlander enjoys an enduring popularity with its pleasurable combination of fine Scottish whiskies and cuisine, distinctive design and exuberant live music from the resident bands. Embracing all things Scottish, Highlander features tartan kilt attired staff, a rustic timber lined interior- with traditional antler chandeliers suspended from the ceiling- and complemented with an exceptional selection of rare aged single malts. Extensive outdoor seating, wrapping around both sides of the corner setting, provides both excellent people watching, and a comfortable al fresco ambiance.
Highlander cuisine & drinks
The Highlander menu offers a wide selection of authentic Scottish dishes, exemplified by main dishes like the Highlander Game Pie; and also Scottish Salmon; Highlander Venison Burger; and the traditional dessert dish of Cranachan. “Wee Bites” for sharing include the Highlander Platter of haggis croquettes, smoked haddock fish cakes, tattie scones, Scotch egg, and venison sausage.
Headlining the beverages at Highlander is the deep selection of aged and rare single malts sourced from all the famous whisky producing regions of Scotland- served by the glass or bottle. The enticing drinks menu also includes selected whiskeys from around the world; both classic cocktails and the sumptuously decadent “Party Libations” concoctions; plus a concise range of wines and champagne; handcrafted micro-brews; and local beers.
Highlander is open daily from 5:00 pm until 2:oo am ( with 3:00 am closing on Friday and Saturday nights). The resident band plays nightly from 10:30 pm.
