Introducing an unparalleled fine dining concept to Jakarta, ALTITUDE was launched on the 46th floor at the apex of the prestigious The Plaza office tower in April 2013. Set within the purpose built double-volume space that occupies the entire floor, three prestigious international restaurants entice discerning diners with a choice of contemporary Australia  grill cuisine at Salt Grill by Luke Mangan; authentic north Italian cuisine at GAIA by OSO Ristorante; and at ENMARU– one of Japan’s finest izakayas- a menu of authentic Japanese cuisine including sushi, sashimi and charcoal grilled meats. Bringing together the three leading restaurants under the umbrella of ALTITUDE provides Jakarta diners with a spectacular destination that offers both superb views across the metropolis, and exceptional culinary experiences. An intimate  bar and lounge on a mezzanine level between the GAIA and Salt Grill restaurants entices patrons for pre or post dinner drinks- serving signature cocktails, premium spirits, coffee  and teas, plus a vast selection of wines from the impressive Altitude wine cellar. Cigar aficionados are also catered for with a broad selection of premium cigars.

Open daily from 11:00 am for lunch and dinner- the restaurants cater to a generally high-end clientele- popular for business entertaining, private celebrations, and  elegant dining. Each restaurant offers several private room options for discrete dining, and corporate events.

GAIA by OSO Ristorante

An elegant decor that features a soft pastel palette with wood finishes and attractive floral motif decoration exudes an atmosphere of elegance and sophistication. The main dining areas seat around 110 patrons, supplemented by an exquisite private dining/meeting room that accommodates up to 12. Stunning panoramic views to the south and west provide the backdrop to the dining experience. GAIA serves consummate renditions of classic north Italian cuisine exemplified by dishes such as Pan fried veal Milanese with rucola salad and cherry tomatoes; Angel Hair pasta with crab meat, cherry tomatoes, lemon skin tossed in extra virgin olive oil and rucola; and traditional dessert delicacies like Panna Cotta and Tiramisu. Diners at GAIA can select from a number of menus including an a la carte Antipasti Menu; Set Lunch Menu; and Daily Suggestion Menu.

Salt Grill by Luke Mangan

Celebrated Australian chef and restaurateur Luke Mangan has taken his famous Sydney restaurant Salt Grill firstly to Singapore, and more recently to Bali and Jakarta. Mangan’s interpretations of contemporary Australian grill cuisine are anchored on fresh Australian produce including  barramundi fish, Coffin Bay oysters, and Tasmanian Salmon, with meat sourced directly from farming partners. Signature dishes from the menu are typically designed for sharing- including the Roasted Chateaubriand served with zucchini, onion rings, pancetta, roast garlic, bone marrow and tarragon sauce. Other stand out dishes include Tasmanian Salmon with yabbie tails, vanilla and chervil dressing and Ribeye 250g- Stockyard Beef from Darling Downs, Queensland, 150 days grain fed with BBQ spice.  Salt Grill seats up to 130 guests in its boldly handsome dining room, with an additional three private rooms available. Diners at Salt Grill enjoy fabulous southerly views over central Jakarta.

Enmaru-  Japanese izakaya

An offshoot of the highly regarded Enmaru izakaya in Japan, Enmaru at Altitude is set within a soaring space that features a dramatic decor of dark solid timbers and stone that recreate an authentic Japanese aesthetic. Seating options at Enmaru include traditional style timber booths, dark wooden tables in the general dining areas, and two spectacular private rooms- all with views towards the north of Jakarta  and the coastline beyond. Japanese chefs ensure that the fresh seafood flown in from Tokyo’s fish markets is prepared with exemplary traditional techniques. An extensive menu offers a wide variety of sushi and sashimi options, plus high grade Japanese wagyu beef cooked over the uniquely Japanese bincho (white- smokeless) charcoal grill.
