Conceived as a luxurious specialist whisky and cigar lounge, The Malt & Leaf  operates independently within the mega-popular The Roof lifestyle complex in KL’s Bandar Utama district. Serving premium quality single malts and top-class cigars in the handsome rooftop space, The Malt & Leaf offers a discerning clientele a sophisticated destination for relaxed indulgences and sociable gatherings. An impressive selection of Scottish and Japanese single malts and American bourbons are served in elegant glassware with fresh coconut water and large ice balls for optimum flavour enhancement. Additionally, The Malt & Leaf offers a full bar service with champagne, wine, premium spirits and non-alcoholic beverages, accompanied with a compact dining menu of snacks and gastropub style dishes.

Generously proportioned, the dimly-lit  interior has an alluring blend of industrial chic and classic luxury, making for a refined environment for the appreciation of the fine libations. Furnished with plush leather chesterfield sofas and armchairs, the warm decor palette of natural tones blends harmoniously with timber floors and amber glow of the candles and ambient lighting. Guests can select from a series of seating options – with the window-front leather banquettes always popular – plus several semi-private sofa settings, high tables adjacent to the bar, and a VIP private room available for intimate dinners or gatherings. Behind the bar, a glass-encased humidor room offers regular customers private lockers to secure their personal cache of whisky and cigars.

The Malt & Leaf  is open daily from 6 pm until late. Regular promotions include daily Happy Hour deals on buckets of beer; and Whiskey Wednesday – with one for one on all whiskey by the glass between 9 pm and midnight. Check The Malt & Leaf Facebook Page for details on all upcoming promotions and events.
