Acclaimed Bangkok gastro bar unveils a refurbished interior & updated cocktail and food menus

Following three years of fabulous popularity, Hyde & Seek, one of Bangkok’s most fashionable restaurant & bars, a few months ago took a brief hiatus to undergo an interior refurbishment and upgrade, re-opening with a fresh and contemporary Mediterranean-influenced decor. Consistent with its well-earned reputation for melding attractive interior design with carefully calibrated concepts of cuisine and cocktails, the refurbished Hyde & Seek exudes a stylish atmosphere with a relaxed yet sophisticated aesthetic, complemented by finely honed, consummate servings from both bar and kitchen.

Hyde & Seek is open daily from 11 am to 1 am, serving lunch, dinner and all-day bar snacks, plus Brunch on the weekends. Table bookinsg are strongly recommended for the evenings. Conveniently located adjacent to the Athenee Residences and prestigious All Seasons Place in the diplomatic district of Wireless and Ploenchit Roads, is also easily accessed from the BTS Ploenchit station.

Hyde & Seek cocktails
The creative cocktail program is headed up by internationally experienced Nath Arj-Han- the Executive Bar at Hyde & Seek. His inventive re-interpretations of classic cocktails, and whimsically themed new libations delivers a delectable selection of drinks to suit all palates. Utilising both traditional and modern mixology techniques, the enthusiastic bar team craft delicious drinks from the extensive compilation of cocktails- firmly positioning Hyde & Seek in the vanguard of creative mixology in Bangkok. The impressively stocked bar also serves a wide range of premium and artisan spirits, wines and craft beers.

Hyde & Seek cuisine
With co-founder, Thai celebrity chef Ian Kitticahi, overseeing the menu design, the contemporary British and American-accented cuisine at Hyde & Seek reflects influences from his impressive international culinary accomplishments. Fresh premium quality ingredients are cooked with guileless technique- the thoughtfully inventive, modern interpretations of comfort foods feature selections of burgers, pastas, meat and poultry dishes, and daily fresh seafood. Some of the standout dishes include The FRENCHIE burgera foie-gras stuffed Wagyu patty with shredded cabbage, Brie & red wine bun; The TOMAHAWK steak (for 2 to 3 persons)– 35 oz, 200 days aged Angus Tomahawk with coffee spice, brussels sprouts & potatoes; and BANGERS & MASH- Cumberland sausages with garlic mashed potatoes & herbed crumb. Favourites from the sumptuous desserts are Puddings such as – Melting CHOCOLATE-Nutella SOUFFLÉwith peanut toffee & hot fudge sauce; and Macchiato SUNDAE with Coffee ice cream, candied pistachio and Kahlua cream.

Sheathed in gleaming bronze, the bar counter evokes a glamorous luxe. Plushly upholstered bar chairs face the bar, and a series of window front high tables.
