The Boathouse is a Modern European dining room located within the restored heritage building- The Fullerton Waterboat House–  on the waterfront at Marina Bay, Singapore.
The original Waterboat House was an art deco styled building constructed in 1919 on the Singapore waterfront- and has now been faithfully restored using natural timbers, white walls and a simple, uncluttered interior.
Various historical items are displayed on tables and the walls as a connection to the history of the building and location. Entry to the restaurant is up the original staircase to the first floor, and on the rooftop directly above Boathouse, is the sister establishment- the rooftop bar- “prel.ude”.

The Boathouse dining room is compact and seats just 45 diners at well spaced tables within the room. There are doors opening out onto a large decked area overlooking the waterfront. The dining room has a unique to Singapore “craft bar” – specialising in selected whiskies,  including traditional single malts from  Scotland, bourbons, and rare whisky labels from Japan. The wines are from selected small allocation wineries- from both “old world” and “new world” vineyards- and include rare vintages. The wine collection can be viewed, and bottles selected by guests, in the temperature controlled room directly off the main bar.

The menu features contemporary interpretations of European dishes- using fresh seasonal ingredients – signature dishes include Seafood Chowder, Sea Bass Carpaccio and Atlantic Pink Snapper.

The Boathouse is open for lunch Monday to Friday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, and for dinner Monday to Saturday from 7:00pm to  11:00pm.  Sunday Brunch from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
