Beerology is located on the second level of the recently opened Phase 11 at the upmarket CDC “lifestyle mall” . This new section of CDC has an emphasis on dining and drinking venues with a good selection of restaurants, cafes, coffee outlets, etc to provide visitors with plenty of options. As the name suggests, Beerology is all about beers- offering probably the widest selection of imported specialty beers in Bangkok- with a particular focus on the craft beers from Belgium. In addition to the 50+ varieties of bottled beer, a selection of 6 imported beers are served on draft taps at the bar.
Beerology is reached up a open outdoor stairway to the second level walkway which overlooks the grassed courtyard below. The space features both outdoor and indoor seating options- with a number of small tables and padded stools on the outdoor deck, and the interior space has a number of wooden tables, some sofas and the main bar counter with some comfortable bar seats. The colour scheme of dark timber furniture, timber flooring and a muted orange shades for the soft furnishings and ceiling give the space a soothing comfortable atmosphere to relax and enjoy the beers and snacks in airconditioned comfort. Bar service is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable.

All the beers are competitively priced- with a pint of draught beer at B210, and the bottled beers ranging from B160 – 280 per bottle.
For the drinkers with a good thirst, a popular current promotion is titled “Beer Buffet”– B800++ allows “All you can drink” on the 6 draught beers and the “Beerology” house bottled beer. The promotion is for Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday nights only- with no time limitation.
The kitchen at Beerology serves a range of traditional bar snacks and some regular “pub food” dishes.
Bar Snacks include – French Fries . Fried Chicken wings . shrimp spring Rolls . Fried Onion Rings .
Main Meals include- Steaks – pork / chicken / lamb / beef . Club Sandwich . Beerology Burger . Pastas . Salads. Thai Rice Dishes .
There is also an arrangement with neighbouring restaurants at CDC to order in dishes- Japanese, Korean, etc. giving patrons a wider choice of dining options.
Beerology is owned by a group of friends who have known each other from school days, all with a shared passion for the appreciation of fine traditional European beers. It would appear that their passion is also shared by a good number of other Bangkok residents, perhaps uninspired by the mass marketed beers most commonly available.
