Dean & DeLuca in Bangkok recently welcomed the arrival of their new Executive Chef- Raymond Rosso from France. With extensive cooking experience in his home country, and also at many leading restaurants globally, his culinary knowledge and skills will be drawn on to further evolve the menu offerings at the expanding presence of Dean & DeLuca cafes in Bangkok. With recent openings at Sathorn Square and Park Ventures Ecoplex, there are now three cafes serving the hungry appetites of office workers and residents of downtown Bangkok.

Coinciding with his appointment, Executive Chef Raymond Rosso has introduced a special menu – “Taste of France”–  for the  month of March only ( available at the main Mahanakhon cafe). Featuring a selection of some of the classic dishes of French cuisine, guests will have the opportunity to appreciate the authentic tastes of France. And at very reasonable prices!

The popular Wine Cafe concept of the Mahanakhon cafe allows diners in the evening to select from the exclusive selections of Dean & Deluca  House Wines- and other artisan Californian wine labels sourced directly from the Dean & DeLuca Napa Valley based Wine Director.

BOUILLABAISSE-  French Provencal Fish Stew of SeaBass, Red Snapper and Monkfish with Penn Cove Mussels, served with ruille sauce on a house made baguette

PAN BAGNAT- Tuna, mixed Bell Peppers, Kalamata olives, organic boiled eggs, Spanish white anchovy, organic beef steak tomato and iceberg lettuce on a soft round roll brushed with walnut pesto and red wine vinagrette

TARTE TATIN- Upside down Caramelised Apple with butter and sugar on Pate Brise, served with caramel sauce
