Post Bar at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore occupies a grand space with the iconic Singapore heritage building. Originally completed in 1928 to serve as the then colony’s General Post Office, The Fullerton Building was for decades the most recognised landmark on the waterfront of Singapore. After a total restoration the building was re-opened in 2001 as the luxurious The Fullerton Hotel Singapore. Located on the ground floor, the main transaction hall of the original General Post Office has been transformed into the sleek and sophisticated Post Bar. Whilst retaining the expansive scale of the room’s heritage, the ornate interior has been refurbished with a modernist style of understated elegance. Beyond the stunning free-standing bar that spans the rear of the room, an outdoor garden terrace area with further table settings beckons patrons seeking to relax under the warm evening skies.
The interior of Post Bar exudes a peaceful and discrete atmosphere during the afternoons, and generously spaced table settings ensure the privacy of conversations. During weekdays, the Business Lunch served from 12 noon until 2:30 pm is a particularly popular choice among local executives from the nearby office towers, and in-house guests. The menu features selections including hearty sandwiches; Post Bar Beef Burgers; fresh, healthy salads; Fish and Chips; and gourmet snacks.
In the evenings, Post Bar takes on a more up-tempo atmosphere, with wide screen plasma screens for sports viewing, and the extensive assemblage of classic and signature cocktails created by The Fullerton mixologists, an irresistible temptation. In addition to the cocktails, a comprehensive selection of wines, champagnes, premium spirits and beers are available from the bar.

The signature cocktails at Post Bar are highlighted by The Fullerton Sling Collection– a series of innovative interpretations of the classic Singapore Sling cocktail- and inspired by the tropical fruits and fragrances of Asia. The collection comprises eight different Slings- the most exotic being the Gold Sling- featured in the photographs below. Other Slings include the Peach Sling– a popular palate pleasing Sling with ripened peach blended with peach schnapps, cherry brandy, DOM Benedictine and triple sec. Another stand-out Sling is the Coconut Sling– the blend of coconut rum, gin, Fraise de Boise (strawberry liqueur) and pineapple juice evokes the flavors of summer.
In addition to the featured Slings, the extensive cocktail menu includes other groupings under headings such as Bubbly Cocktails such as Bellinis that are based on champagnes; Martini Station includes varieties of martinis- classic, fruit based, and some innovative concoctions such as Toblerone– a combination of vodka, baileys, kahlua and frangelico, shaken with dash of milk and honey. Crushed and Muddled cocktails feature variations of the classic Cuban and Latin American cocktails of caipirinha, caipiroska, and mojito. Further groupings include After Dinner Cocktails; Collins; the Post Classics– F1 Grand Prix inspired- Fullerton Hairpin– Refreshing F1 cocktail created in 2008- a bright mix of pineapple juice and cranberry double teamed by vodka, midori and peach schnapps and smoothed with grenadine syrup.

The Snack Menu features a selection of gourmet snacks that have been created by the culinary team at The Fullerton to compliment the drinks. Some examples- Creole Crab Bomba, with Spicy Ramoulade; Peruvian Ceviche– lime Cured Scallop & Sea Bass; Mini Burgers– served with PB Fries; and PB Signature 10” Quesadilla. Snacks are served daily from 5:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
