First launched in Munich in 1989, branches of the Bavarian-themed Paulaner Brauhaus can now be found worldwide, in major global cities such as Cape Town, Beijing, Shanghai and Singapore. The concept of Paulaner Brauhaus combines the centuries old traditions of German beer brewing with the contemporary Bavarian  style of hospitality and cuisine. Each brauhaus contains a working micro-brewery where the in-house Brew Master ensures a continuous supply of freshly brewed Paulaner beers direct to the taps of the bar. Dining is an important element in the Bavarian tradition of beer drinking- with large boisterous beer halls and hearty German dishes accompanying the freshly brewed beers. In Singapore, the Paulaner Brauhaus is prominently located within a large three level space at the Millenia Walk , a luxury fashion, lifestyle and gourmet dining development in the heart of the Suntec and Marina business district. The first micro-brewery to be established in Singapore, Paulaner Brauhaus continues to attract large numbers of aficionados of freshly brewed beers and the cheerful Bavarian style of dining. Paulaner Brauhaus features the ground floor micro-brewery and adjacent bar, plus outdoor tables on the covered walkway, the main restaurant dining room on the first floor, together with an outdoor terrace / beer garden, and a gallery level above the restaurant which primarily is used for private functions and events. Freshly brewed draught beers are paired with a restaurant menu featuring both Munich specialties and selections of International dishes to suit all tastes.   paulaner brauhaus

Paulaner is one of the oldest breweries located in the Bavarian region of Germany, dating back to 1634 when a local order of friars in Munich were granted a license to sell their brews to the public. Paulaner beer continues to this day to be brewed at the main Paulaner Brewery in the heart of Munich. The Paulaner beers brewed in the micro-brewery of Paulaner Brauhaus under the supervision of the local Brew Master, follow the same brewing processes as in the parent brewery, complying with the stipulations of the German Purity Law of 1516. Brewed from just four natural ingredients- malt, hops, yeast and water, the Paulaner beers are served fresh and unfiltered directly through the bar taps. Paulaner Brauhaus Singapore continuously brew two beers- the Munich Dark and Munich Lager. Three times a year additional seasonal specialty brews are offered- Salvator, Maibock and Oktoberfest.
