Recently opened (May 2012) in the heart of the urban sprawl of West Jakarta, Double Doors is the first European style pub to open in that area. The latest addition to the group of pubs and restaurants owned and operated by the respected local Bugils Group, Double Doors shares its DNA with other popular Jakarta pubs and restaurants such as Eastern Promise in Kemang; Cazbar at Mega Kuningan; Cafe de Burse at SCBD ; and De Hooi in South Jakarta. The heritage is evident with the familiar feel to the interior design and the friendly service staff. The successful formula of the other group pubs is once again professionally executed with attractively priced draught and imported beers, good quality Western food, live music, extensive live sports coverage, and a billiard table on hand for regular weekly challenges, or just a game between friends. Customers are enticed to visit regularly with a variety of nightly drinks promotions and special events.
Double Doors is easily accessed from two main toll roads- the new connection to the airport toll road, and the Jakarta -BSD road. Located within a new commercial development in the main shopping area of Puri Indah, there is ample street parking adjacent to the building. The pub occupies two levels of a prominent corner unit – with a traditional bar room on the ground floor, and a larger lounge and dining room on the upper level.
The decor of Double Doors follows the theme of a classic European styled cafe & pub- with lot’s of dark timber furniture and paneling, soft lighting- and a substantial solid timber bar counter, combining to provide a comfortable and cozy atmosphere.
The upper level has various sections that flow together in the open plan space. At one end of the space is the large billiard table with adjacent lounge seating in a couple of booths. The centre section features the dining tables and another large bar counter, with a number of large LCD screens throughout the room for sports viewing. And finally, at the far end of the dining area, an intimate stage is set up for the live music performances.

The drinks menu at Double Doors headlines fresh- and cold- draught beers, and a good selection of local and imported bottled beers. Other drinks include a house wines by the bottle or glass, premium spirits and a list of classic cocktails.
The kitchen at Double Doors serves up primarily a menu of hearty Western dishes, but also includes a few local Indonesian favourites. A good selection of bar snacks are available to satiate the appetite of the drinkers- nachos are always popular, plus Dutch style Bitterballen; Italian style Mini Meat Balls; and Hot Buffalo wings. Popular main dishes include the signature Double Doors Pork Chop; the Double Doors Burger. Salads, soups, pasta, sandwiches and desserts complete the offerings.
