The Bubbalicious concept combines buffet selections of appetizers, salads and fresh shellfish, with rustic traditional Italian dishes such as pasta, pizza, and grilled meats and seafood that are prepared “a la minute” at the live cooking stations, and served personally at the table side by the Prego chefs. The interior receives a makeover for each Sunday, with colorful banners, balloons and casual staff attire transforming the restaurant and making for a welcoming and entertaining dining occasion- evoking the classic “la dolce vita” of an Italian family home-cooked feast.
During the week, Prego serves lunch and dinner from an a la carte menu of Italian cuisine, presenting guests with enticing selections of both hearty traditional dishes, interspersed with some innovative modern interpretations. Standout dishes include the Branzino In Crosta di Sale, Patate Novelle al Vapore, Burro al Limone – salt crusted sea bass served with steamed new potatoes and lemon butter sauce; and Pollo Alla Parmigiana – Parmesan Crumbed Chicken Breast, Tomato, Oregano and Mozzarella. Pizzas are always a popular choice at Prego– expertly cooked in the impressive wood-fired oven that is the centrepiece of the open kitchen at Prego. Other dishes include a wide range of home-made pastas, and a good selection of classic Italian desserts such as The Tiramisu Tradizionale; and Gianduiotto Di Torino – Hazelnut chocolate from Turin topped with hazelnut ice cream.

Prego occupies a double level space- with dining tables at the front on both levels enjoying views out onto the buzzing street life of Jalan Bukit Bintang.

The decor features a contemporary palette of warm earth tones, with elegant red marble topped tables, tan leather upholstered chairs, dark timber furnishings, and a combination of unpolished timber and marble flooring.

An enticing attraction of the Bubbalicious buffet is the free-flow champagne option (priced at RM298++ for free flow on all beverages – including champagne, and the buffet meal).
The Bubbalicious Brunch menu includes both buffet selections of fresh seafoods and salads, plus “a la minute” cooked pastas, pizzas and grills served at the tables personally by the Prego chefs.
Fresh shellfish on ice…including prawns , crabs, mussels, freshly shucked oysters. Perfectly matched with Mumm Champagne.
An extensive array of fresh salads and appetizers are showcased across the curving mosaic tiled counter in front of the open kitchen- including Seafood Salad (Top R) and Smoked Salmon with Sour Cream (Lower R).
The outdoor BBQ grill offers a selection of meats and seafood- served at the table side by the chefs. Whole lamb leg on the spit is a specialty.
Specialties from the Prego chefs include (L) Baked Sea Bass in paper ; and delicious varieties of pizza.
Among the numerous dessert temptations are the dramatic creations of the Bubbalicious Laboratory- where nitrogen foams are blended with flavored ice-creams to craft “made to order” indulgent cones.
