Since opening in June 2012, SKYE continues to be one of the most popular dining and lounge destinations in Jakarta. Occupying the entire 56th floor rooftop of the BCA Tower at Grand Indonesia Mall in the heart of the city- SKYE is a multifaceted venue combining indoor and outdoor spaces to offer guests dining and lounge options that include contemporary international cuisine in the spacious restaurant, and an expansive outdoor bistro and lounge. Floor to ceiling glass walls in the restaurant, and the completely open-sky outdoor terrace, provide spectacular unobstructed 360 degree views across the sprawling metropolis from virtually every table and seat.
Under the direction of recently appointed Executive Chef Hamish Lindsay, the indoor restaurant offers superb all-day dining from an enticing menu featuring contemporary renditions of international ethnic cuisines, embracing particularly Hispanic, Middle-Eastern and Asian cuisines. And at the outdoor terrace, the ambiance transitions from a casual bistro during the day, to a chill-out lounge experience in the evenings. A top notch beverage service includes an extensive wine list, polished mixology-inspired cocktails, plus refreshing mocktails, juices and coffees.
SKYE opens daily from 10:00 am – bookings are recommended for the best tables at both the restaurant and outdoor terrace- particularly on weekends. SKYE was conceived and developed by the acclaimed local Ismaya Group – notably behind a number of Jakarta’s most celebrated establishments including the all-day cafe Social House, and iconic, perennially popular nightclubs Dragonfly and Blowfish.
