Highly regarded Jakarta-based wine purveyor and restaurant group VIN + opened their first Bali offshoot in November 2013. Occupying a prominent corner location in the heart of the Seminyak dining district, the striking bamboo wrapped edifice comprises a substantial retail wine store, capacious indoor and courtyard dining spaces, bar and lounge. Established in Jakarta since 2004, VIN+ are known for their expertly curated selection of labels from the premier wine producing regions of the world, with a price range catering to all budgets from every-day drinking to the most premium vintage wines. Within the retail wine store, customers can select from over 300 varieties, and an in-house stock of over 18,000 bottles. In addition to their wine selection, VIN+ Seminyak stock premium spirits and an impressive range of sake.

Along with its impressive wine program , VIN+ Seminyak attracts as an appealing destination for casual dining and drinks- serving an international bistro menu for lunch and dinner- either outdoors in the stylish central courtyard- or in the elegant yet unpretentious indoor dining areas. Other dining spaces include a pair of luxurious private dining rooms adjacent to the glass-faced premium wine cellar, and a mezzanine level gallery and event space.

Open daily from 10:00 am, the VIN+ Seminyak restaurant serves lunch from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm, and dinner from 6:00 pm- last order 11:00 pm. Wines purchased in the retail store can be consumed in the restaurant or lounge- a nominal service charge only is applied. The private rooms and upper gallery space are available for private parties, weddings and events.

Vin+ Seminyak design

Inspired by traditional Balinese architectural influences, the newly built VIN+ Seminyak  features soaring roof lines, and extensive use of bamboo, local timbers and stone in its construction. The open layout dining and lounge areas integrate seamlessly from indoors to the outdoor courtyard- with antique Balinese decor elements referencing the local culture. A pair of interconnected private dining rooms are ensconced behind the glass-encased premium wine cellar- with a recently launched upper level gallery and event space overlooking the central courtyard.

The restaurant serves a cosmopolitan assemblage of international bistro fare, characterised by honest, straightforward cooking and attractive presentation. A variety of menu options include a la carte for lunch and dinner, an enticing list of Pairing Specials, plus all-day tapas-style Small bites. Sourcing fresh local produce, the appetizing choices include- salads,  seafood, meats, sharing boards.

In addition to the outstanding wine program, the bar service at VIN+ Seminyak also offers a complete drinks list that entices with first rate mixology- the bartenders crafting refreshing, contemporary signature cocktails plus a concise list of classics. Standout signature cocktails include Marmalade Martini– with sparkling wine, gin, blood orange, and orange marmalade; and Jinn Geisha– gin, umeshu, lychee juice, mint, and ginger.
