Diageo recently launched in Singapore the latest expansion of their Johnnie Walker House Asian network of exclusive Scotch whisky embassies. The exclusively invitation-only luxury suites were conceived to offer private collectors and connoisseurs unique bespoke experiences including tastings of rare and limited release bottlings of single malt and blended Scotch whiskies from the extraordinary portfolio of 28 operating and 11 legacy malt distilleries.  Invited guests will also have access to the local Private Client Team for expert advice on the appreciation and curation of whisky collections for whisky, and direct procurement of rare blends from the John Walker & Sons Collection and limited edition Special Releases from famous single malt distilleries.

Conveniently located within the Diageo offices in Singapore’s CBD, the Johnnie Walker House suite enjoys panoramic views over the Singapore River and historic Boat Quay precinct, recreating a connection to the landing location of the first whisky shipments to colonial-era Singapore. Discretely accessed and luxuriously appointed, the suite seats a maximum of 14 guests ensuring privacy and a truly bespoke experience with advice from the private client team – with live teleconference access direct to the distilleries and blending rooms in Scotland, including the Master Blender, Dr Jim Beveridge – also available by arrangement.

Exclusive Collections

Notable among the rare collections available exclusively in Singapore and SE Asia at Johnnie Walker House  (and not available in normal retail outlets)

John Walker & Sons Master Blenders Collection – Alexander Walker  A tribute to 19th Century Master Blender Alexander Walker – features a blend of older complex whiskies selected only from distilleries that were operating in the 19th Century.

John Walker & Sons Master Blenders Collection – Sir Alexander Walker  The second edition from the collection represents the innovative Art Deco period with a blend of rare malt and grain Scotch whiskies from the Johnnie Walker reserves.

John Walker & Sons Signature Blend  Bespoke blends exclusively for select patrons of Johnnie Walker House – drawing only from rarest casks within the entire 7 million casks of the  Johnnie Walker reserves – individual blends are created by Master Blender Dr. Jim Beveridge to match the taste, fragrance and texture preferences of the client.

Casks of Distinction  The ultimate in exclusivity from Johnnie Walker House made available to only selected private clients. A limited number of casks are identified each year from the reserves for their exceptional quality and character and are offered for purchase and bottling. Bottles are serialised and hallmarked with the patron’s signature – certifying the exclusive provenance of the rare whisky. Previous Casks of Distinction have been drawn from the increasingly rare reserve stock of revered closed distilleries such as Port Ellen and Rosebank.

Other locations for Johnnie Walker House in Asia include Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul, Taipei, Chengdu, and Mumbai.
