Hailing from the USA, Brooklyn Brewery has arrived in Asia, right in the heart of Singapore’s famous Orchard Road district. The brand, founded by Brooklyn neighbours Steve Hindy and Tom Potter, evolved as their homage to the diverse cultures of their suburban borough. Joined by graphic designer Milton Glaser who created the brand’s iconic logo, Brooklyn Brewery pioneered New York and America’s passion for craft beer, and has now set its eyes on expansion in Asia where craft beers are enjoying increasing popularity.

Local craft beer fans will revel in the brand’s signature brews – launched exclusively in Singapore at the vibrant KPO Café Bar. Standout beers include the Brooklyn Lager, a Viennese-style beer enhanced with the British method of dry-hopping. This amber-gold concoction stars a firm malt centre, a floral hop aroma, and finishes off with a caramel malt flavour. Another famous brew is the East IPA, beautifully complemented with the aroma of bright pine. Stone fruit flavours are accentuated with East Kent Goldings hops and IPA. Both of these perennial favourites were promised to be regularly on tap at KPO Café Bar.

A good match for Singapore’s tropical weather is Brooklyn Summer, which contains 100% British 2-row barley and drizzled with German and American hops. Other seasonal variants will appear in limited quantities, including Brooklyn Octoberfest, Black Chocolate Stout, and the Bel Air Sour.

Brooklyn Brewery beers are currently available exclusively in Singapore at KPO Café Bar 1 Killiney Road, Singapore 239518.
