The Tasting Alliance, the parent company behind the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and New York World Wine & Spirits Competition, is launching its first global competition in Singapore on June 5th – 6th at The ExciseMan Whisky Bar in the Esplanade Mall. As the international counterpart to the competitions in America,  the Singapore World Spirits Competition aims to elevate brands of all sizes, with particular emphasis on spirits consumed and produced in Asia, including Baijiu, Shochu, and Soju.

Judges at the competition will include tastemakers and bar industry heavyweights from Singapore and across Asia, including Jason Williams of Proof & Co., Blake Walker, director of F&B at J.W. Marriott Singapore, Michael Callahan of Compound Collective (and founding bartender of 28 Hongkong Street), and more.

The SWSC will be a two-day competition featuring blind spirits tastings from panels comprised of judges predominately from Asia, offering a unique regional perspective but maintaining the same level of integrity as SFWSC, SFWIC, and NYWSC through scrupulous judging techniques. Emphasizing integrity and impartiality, The Tasting Alliance takes great pride in ensuring that all entries are treated with equal care and consideration by our panels of carefully selected spirits-industry judges.
