Spectacular urban views complement Peruvian-Japanese cuisine & drinks

Boasting some of the best urban views across Bangkok, Above Eleven Rooftop Bar & Restaurant occupies the upper two levels of the Fraser Suites building in Bangkok’s vibrant inner Sukhumvit district. Since its 2012 opening, Above Eleven has maintained its attraction as a destination for both spectacular views – and for its unique “Nikkei” menu that melds Japanese and Peruvian cuisines. In addition to its innovative dining concept – Above Eleven also offers a vibrant rooftop bar experience with an expansive open-air deck and centrepiece bar – serving quality cocktails – from sunset until late.
With a design concept taking inspiration from urban parks, the stylish decor features polished timber dining and bar furniture, with large sculptured awnings resembling trees. The upper 34th level offers relaxed but sophisticated dining settings, while the main 33rd level bar and lounge is the setting for sunset cocktails and snacks – transitioning to late-night drinks with a weekly schedule of DJ entertainment.
Also taking inspiration from Peruvian culinary influences, the extensive bar menu is highlighted by classic Peruvian pisco cocktails, and original Peruvian-inspired cocktails infused with Peruvian tropical ingredients – try the Machu Peach Pichu – made with Pisco Barsol, peach liquor, peach puree, passion fruit, cranberry & lemon juices. Other specialties include a selection of Nikkei Fusion cocktails – typified by the Akiko Fernandez – a combination of infused Japanese whisky, Pisco, St-Germain elderflower, Angostura bitter & shiso leaf.
Above Eleven opens daily from 6:00 pm – reservations for dining are recommended.
Weekly entertainment with DJs includes Ladies Night on Wednesdays, and DJs playing on Friday and Saturday nights.
Above Eleven Bali
With the 2017 opening of Above Eleven Bali – located on the rooftop of Mövenpick Resort and Spa Jimbaran Bali – the same concept of a Peruvian Japanese rooftop bar & restaurant has been established on the popular resort island.
