Singapore’s renowned Tippling Club elevates the modern fine dining experience with an innovative concept of matching haute cuisine with creative cocktails in an evocative contemporary space set within the lush tropical greenery of historic Dempsey Hill. Tipping Club has established, since its debut in 2008, a highly regarded reputation as a cutting edge proponent of a fun and somewhat irreverent approach to the modern cuisine styles of “deconstruction” and “degustation”. Founded by acclaimed UK chef Ryan Clift, the restaurant continues to delight discerning diners with his modernist cuisine degustation menu that uniquely pairs cocktails to each dish.
The recipient of numerous international awards, Tippling Club recently was ranked # 12 in for the annual Miele Awards Top 20 Best Restaurants in Asia in 2013 ( and has been included in the Miele Top 20 listing since 2010), and nominated 23rd best bar in the world by Drinks International publication.
Inventive cocktails are an essential element in the Tippling Club dining experience, with new creations continually under development in the cutting-edge “laboratory” where the concoctions are crafted using thermo infusions, flavored smoke, dust, and other modern culinary techniques.
Highlights from the Tippling Club Cocktail Program
PEACH BLOW FIZZ- dry gin, fresh strawberries, citrus and club soda. A more modern take on a fizz from the 1916 cocktail book by Hugo Enslin.
DROPJE DAIQUIRI– salted liquorice, venezuelan rum, pressed lime, spanish orange liqueur. Holland has the highest liquorice consumption in the world inspiring this Dutch come Cuban classic into a continental cross-Latin downstairs mix up.
TOREADOR 2012– blanco tequila, apricot, citrus, grenadine.
WHITE CHOCOLATE– apricot coulant.
APHRA BEHN MILK PUNCH– dark rum, english breakfast tea, citrus, milk.
TEXTURED MILK– wood sorrel, amaro.
KODAKARA PEAK– blanche de normandy, yoghurt sake, apple gomme
FOIE GRAS– apple, bircher muesli, yoghurt.
