Perennially rated as Bangkok’s finest steakhouse since its opening in 2001, New York Steakhouse continues to set the benchmark with its premium quality prime beef, consummate cooking and service, and luxurious setting. The favored destination in Bangkok for discerning meat lovers, New York Steakhouse is conveniently located within the five-star luxury JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok, readily accessible to both the main business and upscale residential districts of Bangkok. Inspired by the quintessential steakhouses of Manhattan with its handsome “club” style decor of dark timbers, black leather and subdued lighting, the restaurant attracts a full house nightly, popular with both high-powered executives and special occasion diners. Complementing its stellar steaks, New York Steakhouse offers delicious salads, fresh seafood, and sumptuous desserts, assuring a memorable fine dining experience.

Set in a compact space on the second floor mezzanine of the hotel, the restaurant seats around 80 diners in several interconnected compact dining spaces and private rooms, exuding a comfortable and discreet atmosphere of understated luxury and sophistication. Solid timber beams frame the ceiling, while parquet timber flooring and simple white walls – decorated with framed cityscape images of Manhattan – complement the white-clothed dining tables and black leather armchairs of the dining room. Two handsome private dining rooms seat 8 – 10 guests respectively.

The meat-centric menu showcases prime cuts imported from the premier beef regions of Japan, USA, and Australia. Highlights from the wide selection of prime beef include the signature Spice Rubbed Tomahawk Wagyu Roast Beef for Two – 1kg of Australian Wagyu seared on the char grill and oven roasted; Japanese specialties of highly marbled  Matsuzaka Beef and Kobe Beef; and the ever-popular Pepper Steak – 12 oz of Australian Grain Fed Striploin Steak coated in cracked black pepper. Diners can order accompaniments from the list of side dishes that include Green Asparagus with Hollandaise sauceSteamed Broccoli with Monterey Jack Cheese; and  New York Hashed Brown Garlic Potatoes.

An impressive wine cellar offers a thoughtfully assembled collection of premium wines featuring primarily leading French and Australian  labels.  And pre-diner drinks are highlighted by a solid selection of well-crafted classic cocktails – with around 20 varieties of martinis the specialty.

New York Steakhouse is open daily for dinner service only. Consistently busy, table bookings are essential. Recently re-launched, the Secret Society Sunday Brunch is inspired by Prohibition era New York.  Guests enjoy a 4-course meal of signature steakhouse dishes, while drinks are served “Speakeasy” style, and entry requires a special reservation code.
