Gourmet coffee and cafe group open a stylish new flagship bistro in Singapore
March 22nd, 2019
Well known in Singapore for their gourmet estate-grown coffee and sociable cafes, Dimbulah Coffee have recently opened their new bistro concept outlet within the Raffles Hospital complex. Conveniently located opposite Bugis Junction, the stylish new bistro serves Australian mountain estate-grown coffee – plus a gourmet menu and full bar service – open until late evenings. In addition to the all-day coffee and pastries, Dimbulah is a popular choice for casual dining with a new bistro menu complemented with well-priced Australian wines, a new list of craft cocktails created by expert mixologists, plus draft and bottled beer.
Occupying a glass-encased street-level space, Dimbulah Bistro exudes a contemporary urban bistro style with a distinctive black and white striped marble flooring, comfortable dining at casual table settings, and a centrepiece long timber-topped bar that takes inspiration from the historic “Long Bar” at the nearby Raffles Hotel.
A newly created menu features familiar international bistro dishes – exemplified by signature dishes such as Smashed Avocado from the all-day breakfast menu -with scrambled eggs, avocado, tomato & feta on toast; Honey Roast Chicken Salad with avocado, fresh mozzarella & mustard vinaigrette; and the Beef Burger made with Australian lean beef, fresh herbs plus full trimmings and served with coarse cut fries. Other tasty options include a selection of classic Neapolitan-style pizzas, and German beer-battered Fish & Chips.
Beverage highlights at Dimbulah include their signature coffees – Dimbulah Flat White and Dimbulah Piccolo Latte – while at the bar – try the German beer Veltins Grevensteiner. Cocktails focus on classics such as Americano, Old Fashioned, Espresso Martini – and the local favorite – Singapore Sling.
A daily Happy Hour (5 pm – 8 pm) offers low prices on house pour wine and beers.
