One year after its November 2021 opening, The Haflington has become a popular destination among Hanoi’s growing cocktail bar scene. Designed to evoke the atmosphere of an Old World private museum, the bar occupies the upper two levels of an aged shophouse in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Highly regarded for its polished bar service and knowledgeable bartenders – the vintage-style cocktail menu at The Haflington comprises a well-assembled collection of Classic Cocktails, Unusual Cocktails – plus the bar team’s Modern Classics – supplemented by special Seasonal Menus.

The vintage-themed decor features dark timber and brown leather bar stools, a back bar designed as a classic museum glass showcase – complemented by the long timber paneled and glass-topped bar – while overhead an impressive faux dinosaur skeleton is suspended above the bar from the glass-paneled ceiling. At the lower-level bar, the focus is on whisky and cigars – while an adjacent private room offers plush leather armchairs and sofas settings – blending harmoniously with the dark timber flooring and ceiling.

Entrance to The Haflington is via a narrow passageway between two shophouses – look out for a stationary shop next to the passageway entrance.

The Haflington opens daily from 3 pm – and remains open till late.
