New cocktail menu – inspired by the origin of flavours, travel adventures, and moments in time

Five years after its opening in the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore, the Origin Bar has maintained its highly respected status within the city’s once again buoyant cocktail scene. Recent recognition has included listing at #66 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2022. Designed to evoke the sense of travel with its interior taking design cues from a vintage railway station – a new cocktail menu referencing a journey of discovery through past eras debuted recently.
Comprising 18 new cocktails created by Bar Manager Adam Bursik and his team, the new menu offers guests well-crafted, whimsically named cocktails featuring complex, intense and bold flavours. Standout cocktails include Fancy Like A Sunday Morning – a beguiling combination of Corn Flakes, Darjeeling Tea, Milk Wash, Armetto Disaronno, Sailor Jerry Rum; Tipple Trader – made with Stranger & Sons Gin, Kaffir Lime, Calamansi Wine, Roasted Pineapple, Mace Perfume & Grilled Candy; and After The Beep – Chocolate Aged Havana Club 7 Anos, Black Raspberries, Mancino Secco and Rosso Vermouth, Balsamic.
Complementing the cocktails, a concise bar food menu tempts with classic bites such as Mini Crab Cakes – with seaweed and tartare sauce; Wagyu Sliders – pickled Spanish onions, aged cheddar cheese, and BBQ sauce; and Boston Lobster Rolls – with Japanese mayo, cabbage, celery, sesame, and seaweed.
Origin Bar opens from 5:30 pm Tuesday to Saturday – closed on Sunday and Monday.
