Expanding on his already impressive assemblage of fine dining restaurants in Bangkok that include Michelin-starred Le Du (also #1 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list for 2023) and Nusara (#3 ranked on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023), in May this year Chef Ton joined with his sommelier brother Tam Tassanakajohn, and two-time winner of Diageo World Class Thailand Best Bartender of the Year –  Ronnaporn Kanivichaporn – to open Nuss Bar.

Occupying a compact space adjacent to the entrance of Nusara restaurant, Nuss Bar exudes a stylish luxe with its plush red velvet furnishings complementing the red-themed interior decor – and dramatic local artwork. Overlooking the renowned Wat Pho through a full-width portal-style window connects the bar with the Old Town neighborhood.

At the bar, expect well-executed cocktails from the drinks list created by Ronnaporn – featuring his interpretations of classic cocktails – highlighted by the Three Friends Negroni; Cashew Sidecar; and Palm Daiquiri – all elevated with local flavor profiles imparted by local culinary ingredients, and herbal infusions.

Nuss Bar opens daily – except Tuesday – with drinks being served from 5 pm until midnight.
