Tanjong Beach Club offers an idyllic escape from the daily bustle of downtown Singapore with its location on a secluded beach cove on the south coast of Senstosa Island. Although only a short distance from the central business district of Singapore, the transformation of environs is complete- with a white sand beach on a small bay surrounded by verdant tropical rain forest, tall palm trees lining the beach front- the location could easily be mistaken for a tropical resort island. Tanjong Beach Club have created a haven of stylish beachfront dining, all-day relaxation by the pool or beach, and refreshing drinks served up by the Beach Bar.

The restaurant is housed is a contemporary building overlooking the beach- and with 6 metre high ceilings and full glass facade- the interiors are bathed in natural daylight and cooling seabreezes. Serving a modern “coastal” styling of cuisine with an emphasis on grilled fresh seafood, the dining experience is laid-back yet sophisticated. Outdoors, the facilities include a 20 metre infinity pool and deck,  a variety of day beds, deck chairs and lounges for relaxation, and the covered Beach Bar with further seating at tables. And not forgetting the beach and sea- with a diverse range of activities available- beach volleyball, beer pong, etc.. Sunsets on the beach front are spectacular- best viewed from the Beach Bar with cocktail in hand. The beach parties at Tanjong Beach Club are legendary- Smack My Beach Up is held every Sunday, and Full Steam Ahead, a massive full moon party is held three times a year- attracting crowds of party goers in the thousands. The Tanjong Beach Club was created in a collaboration between beach loving  Australian brothers, Christian and Julian Tan, and Singapore-based hospitality group The Lo & Behold Group – whose portfolio of distinctive Singapore venues include  Loof, The White Rabbit , OverEasy and Extra Virgin Pizza.

The culinary team at Tanjong Beach Club is under the direction of Executive Chef Craig Schantz, who brings his wide experience in creating a modern, market-driven cuisine to the beachfront of Singapore. The restaurant specialty is grilled fresh seafood, complimented by selections of salads, fresh oysters and other shellfish, and beach-friendly dishes such as the Tanjong Burger and Fish & Chips.  The All Day Menu highlights include the TBC Seafood Platter- fresh Oysters, King Crab, Lobster Tail & Prawns (served in two sizes- small for 2-4 persons, and large for 4-8 persons); Super Surf & Turf (serves 2-4 persons)- Hanger Steak, whole cracked Maine Lobster, served with four sauces- scallion vinaigrette, kaffir lime remoulade, chimichurri, fire & smoke.  Some additional dishes and Daily Specials are added in the evenings under the Dinner Additions Menu. And desserts include- Chocolate Ganache Tart-valhrona chocolate, candied hazelnuts & vanilla icecream; and Fresh Berries- served with yogurt ice cream and raspberry lemongrass coulis & lime.

The Drinks Menu from the bar features selections of mostly New World white and red wines and a good range of champagnes NV and vintage. A couple of red and whites wines, champagnes and proseccos are available by the glass. Cocktails include the refreshing TBC Signature cocktails such as  Tanjong Sling – vodka, elderflower cordial, apple juice, lychee, kaffir lime leaf and fresh ginger); and  Kyoho Sour- unfiltered Nigori Sake, Suntory Kyoho Grape liqueur and lemon. Classic cocktails are also featured- with Mojitos; Caipirinhas; Frozen Margaritas; and Singapore Sling among the selections.

A full range of beers- draft, bottles and by the bucket- are available, plus premium spirits and shots. And for non-alcoholic drinks- thirsts can be quenched with freshly squeezed fruit juices; fruit flavoured  Ice Freezes; whole young coconuts; and bottled waters.
