Retro-themed bar combines vintage decor with artisan cocktails – fun destination for good drinks & beats

Retro-themed NEO Cocktail Club is a favored destination for a fashionable local crowd – attracted by well-priced artisanal cocktails and a fun and relaxed vibe. Found within a small space down the steps of Shin Hing Street within the vibrant Hollywood Road precinct, NEO Cocktail Club was established by the French sibling restaurateurs behind neighbouring bistro Cocotte, the compact bar looks back to the 1980’s with its retro-themed decor, vintage pinball and arcade games and eclectic playlist. Offering an appealing combination of well-crafted drinks at approachable prices, plus a menu of chef-driven bar snacks, NEO is a relaxed and unpretentious cocktail haven close to Central.
Design The pared-back urban-industrial space is furnished with a melange of vintage and mid-Century furniture, timber wainscoting juxtaposed with bare concrete walls and wire mesh panels, and a simple all-timber bar. Vintage pinball machines share the space opposite the bar, while a lounge section accommodates around 40 guests.
Cocktails & food Headlining the drinks list are signature cocktails such as the Rumbut & Cardamom Mule – vodka, spiced apple honey syrup, green & black cardamoms, and citrus ginger beer ; and the Corgnac Retrold – 72-hours dry corn infused cognac, spiced pear, homemade cider vinegar syrup and bitters (all cocktails are priced between HK$90 – 130). Other drinks options include Billecart Salmon Brut by the glass – plus a selection of boutique and premium Champagne labels and a concise list of small-producer and independent label spirits. Bar foods created by Cocotte chef-partner Petrous Moldovan embrace a diversity of cuisines including Asian-style skewers; Mexican Homemade Guacamole & Nacho Chips; and the popular NEO’s Sliders- with Wagyu Beef, Spicy Lamb, and Pulled Pork.
NEO Cocktail Club opens Monday to Saturday from 6pm – weekday Happy Hours between 6pm and 8pm offer complimentary bar bites, with DJ nights Wednesday to Saturday.
