Nutmeg & Clove, the acclaimed Singaporean bar consistently ranked among the World’s and Asia’s 50 Best Bars, celebrates its 10th anniversary in May 2024.

In commemorating its colourful journey, the bar is kickstarting its celebrations by unveiling a brand new look, along with a new cocktail and food menu. It proudly sports an updated logo, fresh interiors, and redesigned uniforms for everyone on its team.

Simply and aptly called TEN, the new cocktail menu features a list of 25 cocktails crafted by Head Bartender Gavin Teravasan, each sipping to a colourful trip down memory lane. Priced at $25++ per glass, it includes special concoctions to recall key events of a particular year over the past ten years and crowd-favourites over the years. There will also be a selection of Bartender’s Choice to add to the fun.

New Signatures include the Agnes’ Requiem, a floral, dry and fruity mix, shaken up from Monkey 47 Gin, Raspberry Eau De Vie, Rhubarb, Galangal, Orchid, Jasmine, Lemon and Saline. Don’t miss the Yam Seng, a tropical, creamy and refreshing concoction made from Montelobos Espadin Joven Mezcal, lemongrass, pandan, taro, lemon and cream, silkened with egg white for an extra smooth finish. A true ode to Singapore comes with the Don’t Chicken Out, a savoury, spicy and complex mix reminiscent of the Singapore staple chicken rice. The drinkable version is shaken up from Bacardi Anejo Cuatro 4YO Rum, Tio Pepe Fino, Sherry, cucumber, Hainanese chilli, lime and a dash of MSG.

In commemorating the milestone anniversary, flavours on the food front are also being turned up a notch by the new head chef Bernstein Lim. Expect favourite local dishes elevated with additions from the best of different cultures.

Look forward to brand new dishes like the Duck Rice Arancini, toothsome braised duck risotto doused in a savoury egg sauce before finished off with a side of sambal mayo. The Lor Bak Sandwich takes a Vietnamese classic of crispy ciabatta roll and stuffs it with sliced braised pork belly before loading on a braised peanut spread, pickled mustard green aioli, cilantro and cucumber for a refreshing and crispy banh mi treat.

Meatless options are not forgotten with options like Suan Pan Zi, bite-sized handmade yam abacus seeds stir-fried to fragrant deliciousness with wood ear, shiitake mushrooms, shallot dust, toasted buckwheat and crowned with generous chives and an onsen egg. Another alternative is the Fried Carrot Cake, a crispy turnip cake fragranced with lashings of bacon relish sauce and homemade sambal.
