Moovina offers Jakarta residents and visitors alluring dining and socialising with its multifaceted concept that encompasses two distinct dining experiences, a seductively furnished lounge with DJ entertainment, and a swank cocktail bar. Set within a voluminous space across two levels at the luxurious Plaza Indonesia Mall- Moovina impresses visually with its bold, contemporary design. Established in 2012 by the team behind the popular Ocha & Bella restaurant and bar in nearby Menteng, the culinary focus at Moovina is also on authentic provincial Italian cuisine. And with the upper level stylish lounge and bar area, Moovina is a popular destination for after-work drinks and a vibrant social scene that buzzes late into the night. Open all day from 11:00 am, Moovina has become an attractive haven for visitors to the mall to take a break for a drink, snack or enjoy full meal.

Diners can select between two settings – on the lower level diners are seated comfortably in a casual European garden setting, with verdant greenery planted throughout the space to provide a soothing, natural atmosphere, while on the upper level a stylish Italian ristorante dining area overlooks the bustling open kitchen.  Also on the upper level, a spacious semi-private dining and lounge space caters to small groups and corporate events. The split level sunken lounge area that adjoins the substantial bar is centred around the large roaring fireplace that suffuses the lounge with a distinctly European feel.

Moovina cuisine

Under the direction of Tuscan-raised Executive Chef Mirko Lanini, the kitchen team serve up a broad selection of rustic provincial Italian fare with familiar dishes ranging from pastas and wood-fired pizzas to grilled and roasted meats, fish and poultry. Exemplifying the authentic cuisine are dishes such as Tagliolini Neri al Salmone– black ink tagliolini with salmon, cream sauce adn fresh coriander; Filetto di Manzo Boscaiola– pan roasted beef tenderloin with green asparagus, champignon mushroom and cream sauce; and Pizza Zola e Noli– walnut, mozzarella, gorgonzola and parmigiano.

At the main bar on the upper level, the bartenders create both their innovative signature cocktails, as well as a list of classic cocktails, premium spirits and other beverages. In addition to the well-stocked bar, Moovina boasts an impressive walk-in wine cellar with an extensive variety of mostly Italian wines.
