A recent refresh of the much-lauded Park Society restaurant at Sofitel SO Bangkok brings a renewed focus on contemporary social dining experiences and creative modern cuisine. Recently appointed chef de cuisine Chef Joost Bijster has conceived a new menu that highlights his creative culinary talents – honed cooking in the kitchens of Michelin-starred restaurants in Holland. Daily updated menus will feature the freshest local and imported seasonal produce. Located on the 29th floor of the SO Sofitel Bangkok, the restaurant enjoys stunning views across the neighbouring Lumpini Park and city skyline, while the understated contemporary luxe of the dining spaces makes for a stylish and sociable atmosphere.

And at the adjacent open-air Park Society Terrace, guests can take in some of Bangkok’s best rooftop vistas while enjoying a tantalising selection of polished cocktails and gourmet bar cuisine. With the sweeping views across the city’s sprawling skyline, Park Society Terrace continues as one of Bangkok’s mosy popular destinations for sunset cocktails and late night chill-out drinks. Regular events and vibrant parties featuring top DJs elevate the social buzz at Park Society Terrace to new levels.

Cuisine  The new menu at Park Society features both a la carte selections and “whole table sharing concepts”, together with a monthly promotion set menu. Among dishes that showcase the culinary virtuosity of Chef Joost Bijster are Prince of the Sea – with live Canadian whole lobster cooked with two sauces – traditional lobster reduction and Thai red curry; and Burratta Balloon & Heirloom – fresh Italian mozzarella cheese filled with stracciatella di bufala, accompanied by a selection of heirloom tomatoes.

Cocktails & Bar Food  Sophisticated cocktails at the Terrace bar complement the social dining concept of Park Society with the new Cocktail List featuring signature cocktails created by the local Thailand Diageo World Class team. Patrons can also enjoy gourmet bar food with selections of sharing dishes and “More Serious Stuff” such as Fish & Chips, Black Label Burger, and pizzas.

Park Society restaurant serves dinner daily from 6pm, while the Park Society Terrace bar opens daily from 5pm until late. Check the SO Sofitel Bangkok Facebook Page for menu promotions and upcoming events.
