Superbly located on the Marina Bay waterfront at One Fullerton, upscale Singapore seafood restaurant and bar The Pelican has become a popular destination for both visitors and the city office crowd since its launch in 2012. Taking inspiration from modern American grill cuisine, The Pelican delivers a sophisticated seafood-based dining concept with exemplary cooking technique combining harmoniously with an aesthetic of understated luxe. Diners can select between the restrained elegance of the interior dining room – replete with its plush red leather booths – or take advantage of its waterfront outlook and enjoy the more laid-back and casual ambience at the expansive open-air terrace deck. In addition to the appetising seafood cuisine, The Pelican offers an enticing drinks list with well-executed, nautically-themed signature cocktails, solid wine list, and refreshing beers.

Cuisine  With the addition of the impressive Raw Bar showcasing the daily fresh assortment of crustacea and exotic caviars, Head Chef Jonathan Sparber has introduced an enticing new dimension to the seafood offerings at The Pelican. Among the highlights – seasonal fresh raw oysters, Maine Lobsters, Brown Crabs, clams and scallops. A standout option on the menu is The Pelican Platter – a daily fresh assortment including whole lobster, oysters, clams and prawns for sharing. Also notable are newly introduced seafood dishes such as the Glacier 51 Toothfish – a fish prized for its elegant texture and flavour – cooked with a brioche crust and served with olives, saffron corn sauce, and kailan; and the Poached Lobster – served with fennel and avocado dressing.

The Pelican opens Monday to Saturday, serving both lunch and dinner. Weekly highlights include the generous daily Happy Hours between 1pm – 8pm; Tuesday and Thursday Oyster Happy Hour Days with S$2 oysters between 6pm and 9pm; and the popular weekend The Pelican Boil – with fresh seafood boiled in a special in-house broth and good for sharing. Seasonal seafood specialties are highlighted on The Pelican Facebook Page. Table reservations for the indoor dining room are recommended.
