Acclaimed Tokyo cocktail establishment BAR HIGH FIVE comes to Hong Kong in September for the latest in the series of Masters of Mixology pop-up bars hosted by MO Bar at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. Following previous pop-ups by famed New York bars – Employees Only last year, and PDT (Please Don’t Tell) earlier in 2016, Mr Hidetsugu Ueno and his team of award-winning mixologists, Ms Kaori Kurakami and Ms Yuriko Naganuma, will present 14 specially crafted cocktails at the pop-up – showcasing the best of modern Japanese bartending.  Among the most highly-regarded Tokyo bartenders – famous for his signature hard shake – Ueno-san has won multiple international bartending competitions – and most recently was recognised as International Bartender of the Year 2016 at the premier cocktail festival – Tales of The Cocktail – in New Orleans.

Complementing the cocktails, The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong’s Culinary Director Richard Ekkebus, has created a bespoke menu of gastronomic treats, including charcuterie of Ibérico Bellota Ham and the finest Iberian specialities by Bellota Bellota.

Guests are also invited to join an Instagram photo contest to win a two-night stay for two people at Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo and visit the original BAR HIGH FIVE in the city’s Ginza district.

Early reservation is recommended for one of the two five-seat tables available in The Shell (maximum seating capacity of The Shell: 20 people).
For enquiries or reservations, call MO Bar at +852 2132 0077 or e- mail to lmhkg-mobar@mohg.com.
