Highly regarded among discerning diners since its launch in 2008, The White Rabbit restaurant enjoys local and international recognition for its exceptional combination of refined modern European cuisine and charming setting within a refurbished colonial-era military chapel. Appended to the main restaurant, The Rabbit Hole bar offers a casual setting for relaxed drinks with its outdoor terrace that extends onto the lush tropical garden surrounds of the heritage building. For years the venue of both epic parties and discrete private garden gatherings, The Rabbit Hole has recently undergone a reboot with a fresh new bar program that celebrates the global renaissance of gin as a fashionable and sophisticated spirit. The new bar menu features a thoughtfully curated assemblage of 15 varieties of signature gin and tonic serves – matching regional gin varietals with appropriate garnishes, and mixed with house-made tonic water.

Design  Taking advantage of its idyllic garden outlook, The Rabbit Hole features a covered verandah and bar area, with further well-spaced tables and chair settings across open-air paved terraces set into the garden. Decor is simple yet elegant with a rustic chic feel. Classic wicker and wrought iron garden furniture offer comfortable settings for relaxed conversations with sophisticated refreshments.

Drinks  Taking advantage of the complex botanical notes and regional variations possible with modern gin production techniques, a plethora of artisanal gin brands have emerged across the globe in recent years, offering an immense spectrum of flavour profiles, complexity, and elegant botanical aromatics. Embracing this trend, the bar team at the parent Lo & Behold Group have compiled a drinks menu headlined by signature gin and tonic serves grouped under 5 categories of flavour profile – Traditional London Dry, Simple & Honest, Floral & Elegant, Complex & Unexpected and The New Classics. Alternative drink options include gin-based cocktails, wine and champagne, beers and soft drinks, complemented with a bar snacks menu that includes fresh oysters, charcuterie, and platters of Bordier cheeses.

The Rabbit Hole opens from 6 pm Tuesday to Sunday. Special events and promotions are listed on the Facebook Page of The White Rabbit.
