prel.ude is a newly opened (2009) rooftop bar in Singapore – located in a restored heritage building- The Waterboat House, on the Marina Bay waterfront, adjacent to, and owned by The Fullerton Hotel . The bar is up a stairway above the Boathouse restaurant (same management as prel.ude)- and is a completely open-air rooftop setting, with tables and lot’s of plants to provide a casual, unpretentious atmosphere. There are large parasols that provide some shelter from either rain, or the late afternoon sunshine.
Drinks served include cold draught beers, champagnes, cocktails and spirits. Seafood platters and some other bar snacks can be ordered from the Boathouse restaurant on the floor below.
prel.ude has superb panoramic 360 degree views over Marina Bay to the new casino, as well as back towards the CBD.
Operating hours are from Monday to Saturday 6:00pm until late, closed on Sundays.
